Axe Killer Jail is the third episode of the Ghost Adventures mini-series, Serial Killer Spirits. Zak Bagans and the team travel to Council Bluffs, Iowa, to investigate the jail that once held Jake Bird, a prolific serial killer who may have killed as many as 46 people and was said to have placed a deadly curse on the men who convicted him.

- Spirit Box Voices: "where are you?", "come attack me", "you got it", "get back"
- Apparition: A strobing light is captured coming out of Jake Bird's cell at the same time a spirit box voice is captured
- Physical Contact: Zak, Aaron, and Billy experience a strange feeling of breathlessness following the spirit box session
- Apparition: A light anomaly is captured disappearing into Zak
- Visual Sighting: Zak claims to have seen a dark apparition twice inside the apartment
- Apparition/Physical Contact: At the same time Aaron feels an energy come at him, the motion activated game camera captures a ball of light go into him
- Apparition: Strange lights are captured near Jake Bird's cell on an x camera
- Apparition: Right after Zak returns to the apartment, the x camera captures a black mass move under the stairs
- Physical Contact: Billy claims that the geophone device moves several times on its own
