Teller County Jail is a former jail house located in Cripple Creek, Colorado, now known as the "Outlaws and Lawmen Jail Museum."
The jail opened in 1901 and shut down in 1992. It housed 100 men in only 14 cells, about 6 individuals per cell. The jail is known for occupying Olga Knutsen, who suffered from extreme paranoia. After being tried in court as insane, she was taken to a cell. That night, she died by essentially shutting down her bodily functions mentally.
Notes[]
- The Teller County Jail was only featured in a bonus scene in Ghost Adventures Volume 8. It was most likely a deleted scene from "Cripple Creek", since the jail is located in Cripple Creek.
